Top 7 Questions To Ask Yourself, To Quickly Raise Your Companies Profits

As your business gets larger, its not as important to know all of the answers, but to know which questions to ask. Here are the questions I ask myself, when I'm focusing on increasing profitability:

  1. Where is the highest amount of revenue coming from, over the last 3 months? What could we do to increase this area of our business?

  2. Who on my staff, if I let them go, would not make any difference or impact on sales or operations?

  3. What are we doing right now, expense wise, that is really stupid, and what can we change immediately, without impacting service?

  4. How big can we take this thing? What is the maximum potential for this product or service in the finite marketplace niche we are serving?

  5. What is my current cost of acquiring sales? How could I acquire more sales at a lower cost than what has costed me in the past to acquire sales?

  6. How can I add 3 more large accounts to my client base this month and who are the 9 businesses I should court to fetch 3 of them?

  7. Which product lines should I dump immediately, because they are not contributing to a profitable bottom line, and have no other significant impact in our overall company?
